Delete your account in the app

   Sign in

   Open the Dr. Jared app, or sign in at drjaredapp.com.

   Open your Account page

   On your phone, tap the More tab, then tap your name at the top of the menu. On a computer, click your name at the bottom of the left sidebar.

   Tap Delete account

   It’s at the bottom of the Account page.

   Confirm

   Type DELETE and tap Delete my account. Your account is deleted right away and you’re signed out.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account — use the steps above or email us.

Request deletion by email

If you can’t sign in, email hello@drjaredapp.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We only act on requests sent from the account’s own address, so we can be sure it’s you. We’ll delete the account within 30 days — usually much sooner — and reply to confirm when it’s done.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in details (email address and password).
• Your profile: name, profile photo, and the health details on My Info (gender, age, height, weight, activity level, occupation, medical conditions, surgical history).
• Your chats with Dr. Jared, including every message.
• Your treatment plans and workout history.
• Your chart — what Dr. Jared remembers about you across chats.
• Your in-app support conversations and app-install records.

This happens immediately and can’t be undone.

What we keep, and for how long

• Payment records. If you had a paid membership, it is canceled immediately when you delete your account and you won’t be charged again. Our record of your subscription (its dates, status, and Stripe reference) is kept for tax and accounting purposes for up to 7 years, detached from your deleted account. Payments are processed by Stripe, which keeps its own records of them — including your billing email and card details — under Stripe’s own policies; we never store your card.
• Anonymous usage records. A note of which conditions our exercise video library couldn’t cover, and error logs from plan generation, are kept with your identity removed. They can’t be traced back to you.
• Backups. Deleted data can remain in our encrypted database backups for up to 30 days until those backups expire.
• Emails to us. Messages you’ve sent to hello@drjaredapp.com stay in our inbox. Ask in your request and we’ll delete those too.
